2 blade prop

[v-drive]

I have a 2 blade prop that I want to try on my boat before buying a new one.
It's a chromed stellings that came with the boat so i'm guessing it's bronze.
I want to have it magnafluxed to check for cracks but don't know where to go for this service. Does anyone know where I can take it...Thanks

Does magnaflux work on bronze??? Chrome over bronze is fine for pleasure boating but don't try and go racing with it.

it would be Nibral not bronze. But if it's a Stellings I would think it's steel and was chromed for lake use. Helps keep the rust down. Anyway you can't check it for cracks with out stripping off the chrome i'm pretty sure.

take it to your local chrome shop and have them take the chrome off. Then get it checked
