I started to redo the wood under the seats and also the front seats in my jet boat today.
This is the second boat that I am tackling...Like the last one, some previous owner redid the front seats with maybe 3/8" plywood.
I am again going to use the barrel slat style like one of the original (I think?)seats from another older boat.
I want to reuse the upholstery for the rest of the season and This is what I have so far.
Does anyone still do seats like this anymore??
After I fiberglass the bucket front & back I will trim the wood to fit the upholstery and they should be as strong if not stronger than factor....At least stronger than the rotted 3/8" plywood to the left.
