Does anyone know where I can pick up a short tail for a powerglide i'm thinking of buying for my never ending project boat. :cool: V-drive

I beleive it's not something you can just bolt on. There is machining to be done on the case, and a special yoke you will need. Contact Art Carr, or B&M or TCI.

Go to JEG'S.COM and check out these part #'s 890-745980 and 890-746401 they are good parts. I used them in my power glide.You need both.

i did the samething when i had my howaed
dont waste your money you will also need a deep trans pan and a reverse pick up
it still puts you back to a 1 to 1 ratio

ps try huges converters in phx they have it all
