What would cause a solonoid to stick closed? I just replaced it last year.

What would cause a solonoid to stick closed? I just replaced it last year. Water, moisture....leading to corrosion of the contacts and armature.

Throw it in the gutter and go buy another. Make sure its mounted where no water will hit it.

Make sure you have enough voltage too. there's been a number of threads on this subject if you do a search. :)
