I will be dragging the Tahiti back home next week for a week at the folks place, and would like to get a few people together to make a run on the Umpqua river From Scottsburg towards Reedsport Oregon. This is mid state, coastal area, and the river is normally glass to light wind chop, and I have only seen a few freeboard challenged boats run on it. From Scottsburb bridge to Reedsport is about 25 miles, and average width is 75-100 yards, with good depth.
If anyone is interested let me know, there are many motels, campgrounds, and resturants in Reedsport, if anyone needs or wants to stay overnight.
