My wife works at the IHS facility here in Parker. Nothing better than a Federal career.
Some may want to pass on the nurse job at the Supai clinic listed. The clinic is a sub-unit of the Main facility in Parker, and is located at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. The communte requires either a helicopter or pack-mule.

The dam job sounds pretty good though. I would take a hit in pay but if i had the high voltage quals it would definitely be on my radar!!!

Hmmm? Just cause folks have no teeth, does not mean they go to the dentist....if they did go to the dentist they would have them.....maybe the meth dealer has a better chance at lively hood then the dentist....
Jailer is also a pretty solid job in Parker!

50k for a nurse seems pretty good pay for Parker, but housing prices are high so damfino.
The nurses (RN with a sheepskin) in my neighborhood in Simi all pull about $130 k to $170 k. +15% shift differential.

Remember that that's Federal GS-9 Pay Scale, for entry level nurses. The local hospital and Dr. Offices pay less. Promotion potential for the Nursing positions is up to GS-11 ($67,500) and with prior experiece could start higher than the GS-9.
Just for comparison's sake, my wife is a Certified Medical Coder and is a GS-7.
