Todays News Herald reports of a brawl in the Channel Fri afternoon because one man accused another of "eyeballing his wife". Some of the people were taken to the hospital for stab wounds. This type of thing is becoming more frequent. Be careful of what you look at :( NSF

Must have been a thugs wife. Those type of guys are so insecure & jealous. If you don't want anyone to look at your wife, don't take her to the channel, sandbar, or any where on the water for that matter. :hammer2:
That is just b.s.!!

This I don't understand. When we go to the channel or sand bar aren't we all being eyeballed or doing the eye balling. If you can't handle people looking at you what are you doing there. That's why everyone buys bigger and better boats every year so that people look.

The whole tough guy vato thing is largely a socal fenomenom. I spend alot of time in AZ and the people there are a lot differant. More reserve, a lot more respectful and friendly. You'd have to go there and stay for a while to notice what i'm talking about. But I'd bet that will all change now that so many people are moving out to get a AZ mansion for 300k.

They did not say a knife was used but thought a broken piece of glass (Beer Bottle??) but there was lots of blood, the first LE drew his taser as it looked out of hand (the number of people fighting I guess)
I dont think you can escape this type of thing by going elsewhere although Havasu gets more than it's fair share of this. I read that Naci or one of those lakes had a gang thing over Memorial Day that took several LE agencies to control, and of course our latest instance at Moabi. It just seems that todays people have a very confrontation, violent attitude everywhere you go, be it the market, the movies, the gas station, just about anywhere  How it will be stopped is beyond me, stay by yourself I guess, like I said "what a shame as I enjoy looking at all the hot boats and girls," too bad! :chi: :chi: NSF

I was in the channel Friday, and my son followed the paramedics over to see what was up - he said it was pretty bloody. Mix alcohol and ignorance and that's what you get. Too bad they couldn't do it in the comfort of their own homes and leave the rest of us out of it.

For the most part, I agree about Arizonans being more respectful, but the exceptions really are a piece of work. Other than the California hater mentality, there's also an anti-boater mentality out there. I'll be back in BHC in a couple weeks for an arraignment on one of these haters. As long as there's a "CA" on the bow or the license plate, alot of people can't see any further.

We own our mother in laws place in Tucson so I guess you could say we are part time zoners. My boat is Reg. in AZ. Mabey they would'nt hate CA's so much if so many of us did'nt act like their home was our toilet. I'm sure people on this board don't act that way. We are here because we love that place, in fact it's not just a place but a life style for us. I showed up in town on the 4 th weekend at 2:00 am sat. morning, filled the boat with gas and wnt to dennys for some food. They had a rent a cop in dennys at 2:00 am just incase it got out of hand. 10 min. later a bunch of asshole 20 somethings came in all loud and idiotic. I'm 28 but was raised with some class so, my point is I can see why the locals don't care for the assholes that show up with CA tags to poo all over their community. It's their town, so it's up to us to prove that we respect them and their home. There will be isolated issues nomatter where your at. I allways approach the locals there with respect, you allways get more with sugar than with salt.

Last year I was in the channel and there was 20 young punks that were starting trouble the whole day...throwing rocks at peoples boats etc. They were about 5 or 6 boats down from me. Anyhow they end up near us and there was an altercation and my buddie got his nose cut open. It was 3 of us and Scully came over to back us up so about 20 on 4. They had rocks in there hands, bottles etc. They were talking all tough...I proceeded to calm the situation but it could have easily gotten out of control. Anyhow they all got theres that night as I figured out which car they were in and had the plates ran when I got back. They got in trouble for open container, providing liquor to minors and drunk driving. If you see trouble headed your way it is not worth it in this day in age. No one fights fair anymore. Oh and all the kids were from Bullhead city and flagstaff metal mulisha wannabes.

I'm sure quite a bit of it is the transients in BHC, too. People blow into town and get a job in the casinos, but have no real stake in making the area better. In my case, I have a place there to enjoy the river and AZ, not drag California with me. I should make a decal for the back window.... "Don't shoot, I'm here for more than a weekend".

Violence at Lake Havasu(updated correction)
LAKE HAVASU CITY, Ariz.- The relaxed atmosphere of the lake was broken Friday evening when a fight broke out, on London Bridge Beach, in Lake Havasu City. According to Lake Havasu Police spokesperson, Richie Sloma, the fight involved nine non-residents and a broken beer bottle. Three people were taken to the hospital and two individuals were charged. The victims had been stabbed with the beer bottle, one seriously enough to need surgery and in jeopardy of losing his arm, stated Sloma.
“Shawn Cachiatori, age 25 of Hemet, Ca. was charged with three counts of aggravated assault and his brother Mathew age 20 was charged with disorderly conduct,” stated Sloma. Shawn Cachiatori was held on $75,000 bond. Victims are expected to recover.

If the fighting and disorderly conduct doen't get better forget drinking at the River anymore. They will make the Channel Dry, close the sandbar on the weekends, and make Moabi Channel dry. We are dealing with the Generation of Entitlement right now and they think they are entitled to everything with earning shit. They are a scary breed which is going to f-up a great place. They will just move there party somewhere else and f-it up for another group. Everyone needs to start telling everyone they know how shitty the river is so people will stop coming out :p

Todays News Herald reports of a brawl in the Channel Fri afternoon because one man accused another of "eyeballing his wife". Some of the people were taken to the hospital for stab wounds. This type of thing is becoming more frequent. Be careful of what you look at :( NSF

I look at it this way. My wife is cute, and I paid for those big ol things so take a gander, just don't touch. But lookin is fine. Be rude about it and there may be cause to say'"Hey dude, chill a bit and all's cool" Other than that, why would she be wearing a top 2 sizes too small if a guy didn't want people to notice. $.02

What people do not know and have not been told is that Shaun and Matt where fighting for there life. The people attacked them it was seven on two and the police never found a weapon. The officers never took this into consideration. It was self defense. But if they told the turth then they would have to change the charges. What would you do if you where attacked at the lake or anywhere. :frown:
