should i use teflon tape or not.the fitting look taperd but one is still leaking

No. They are compression fittings. If you take them apart, or put them on wrong, you need new pices. The ball lookin ones. I dont know exactly what they are called.

i think they are ferral and nut

they are ferrel and nut, you can find new ones for pennys at a truck suply store, or truck stop. or.... you can buy the push fittings. i use the push fittings for all my 1/4" air lines (same lines). busby knows where to get them.

I fianally got tired of messing with the plastic hoses, and got the stainless set. Just put them on yesterday.

By the way, I though you were talkin about the plastic lines, The SS are the way to go.

yah i had a prob with the lines inside the boat .i did stainless out and the plastic in side for now
