I know alot of peeps bought new trucks lately. Let see some pics. I need some ideas. Would that be considered a splash!
I got a red Z71 and going to order a set of 20s with 305/50/20 rubber in the next few days. The tire dealer said it can be done but I have concerns. Has anybody done this with a truck that has not been lifted? I dont think I can lift more than a 1" or 2" and still fit in the garage. It is going to take a few weeks to
get mine right. Wheels and tires are just the starting point!

Alot of the lifts are great for looking good but dont stand up when it counts.. I have been avoiding a llift for this reason. Superlifts , fabtec have all had problems out here due to the severe driving conditions. My bud threw the dual shock set up on his o5 Gm and within 1 week it had snapped the top mounts for the shocks..off it came ..any Heavy duty lifts available that you know of?

It sounds like your buddies aux. shock lengths were too long, bottomed out and snapped the tabs off. For heavy duty apps. we build our own hoops and bump/ droop stops! As far as heavy duty lifts (Rancho, Full Throttle, Bulletproof) make some pretty good IFS stuff!

What we run on is pretty extreme. Pit run with huge pounded out holes in the road, 12" deep ruts every where ..and now 24" of clay mud.and this is every goddamn day. these trucks take such a beating..I have 100,000 miles on mine and its like 400,000 on any other truck. they depreciate so fast up here its sickening..literally beat to shit!..a durable 8" would definitly get the chev frame over the shit..but all the mounts and hardware have to be able to take a shit kicking. There are so many trucks with lifts up here, people have gone to buying fords and dodges, not beacuse they are a good truck..but it's hella cheap to lift them rather than the chevs. Still disposable trucks, but you avoid the issue of being high cenetered on these ruts or dragging frams in the mud.

have you installed these lifts? and what are the pro's to these? what kind of driving conditions do the customers have? I have not heard of this comany before so I have questions! http://www.californiasupertrucks.com/ Yes, I have installed their lifts. I actually had one of their 1st 8" lifts on my "01" chevy HD crew cab 8.1 Ltr/ Allison in Late 2000. The truck was awesome, went to the dunes every winter weekend towing 30ft toyhauler, then we would disconnect and do some duning with the tow rig. No problems to report! Then I installed 12" FTS and reinstalled the CST on my little bro's 6.0ltr 2003 2500HD which he started punishing instantly and still no failures with 3 years of abuse! We did replace factory items like balljoints, and idler arms on his truck because he does thrash his stuff!

It has a 12" Full Throttle and a bunch of our goodies! 22" t/w combo stock height is a good look, but not as much eye candy as a lifted combo! Most of our customers have an 8' header that park in the garage, so you will have to measure how much room you have. :notam:

Some nice looking trucks you have done. I will be buying a set of 20s with 305/50/20 tires in the next few days. If you can match or beat the price I would just as soon give my money to a fellow boater.
Couple of questions.......I want to lift the truck 1" to 2" what is the best way to do this without sacraficing drivablity? Also what is your price for the billet grill for
a 2005 Z71? Also you had another grill which looks liked it was stamped. If you can figure out which one I am talking about shot me a price on that one also.

What set up is on the White Crew Cab? I have a 2004 Silverado Crew CAb 2WD and a 2005 GMC Ext Cab 2WD. I want to lift both and this Crew Cab looks to be the perfect heigth. Could you please get me some info or a # wher I can call you.
What brand lift used?
What '' of lift?
What size rims?
What size tires?
Thanks for the info.

and the white Crew Cab has a Fabtech 7" performance lift kit and the tires are 315 70 R17. 1562 for the lift plus shipping. I did not ask the price of installation being I am in South Georgia.
