Just a friendly note to all Arizona boat owners. :D
A fee increase will take effect on August 31, 2005. As of 9/1/05 all boats will fall to the new fee rate. :2purples:
Renew your boat online at www.azgfd.gov or call toll free at 866-462-0433 for the quickest way to beat the new rates.
Please don't jam Libby's phone line, if you have questions call me directly at
602-789-3406. After all, I do have boat registrations to process...

I read about the increases from BoatCop a month or two ago and saw how AZ is sticking it to us non-residents now. Funny thing is thats probably how it should be, unlike here in Ca. where they stick it to the residents for most things.

As if you don't have enough to do with the regular registrations, now you're asking to up your work-load. ;)
No matter. Either way, it increases the funds in my salary grant. :D

Does anybody know what the California fees are or what their formula for boat fees is calculated at. For Example, I have a 20.5 Carrera and it is now going to cost me 259.00 in Arizona where it used to cost me only 86.00. I can't believe CA can be more than that... Almost 3x as much... WTF!!! AZ :hammerhea

Talk about timing, today my renewal notice showed up. I have my '67 Howard flattie registered in Arizona because of the vintage AZ numbers painted on the boat. I didn't want to change 'em.
They are so old that the number is AZ 1681 J, no second alpha number.
