Thats crap. That pull off is all in the driver. If you stomp on it or pop the clutch your toast cuz youll only spin your tires. The real way to test is put the identical 5th wheel behind each truck then do a 1/4 on flat and uphill thats the real test.

Stop whining! If it would have been a GMC the ford wouldn't have a bumper on it now. Fords are so weak :notam:

I doubt very highly that the front tires would start spinning fast enough to start smoking with all the weight of the engine on them.

I'm sure glad at least somebody else understands how 4x4 actually works.
besides that, who knows, the other truck could have had lockers front and
rear.

All in the set up and driver :jawdrop:
When the ford starts to hop, he is lucky his rearend to not explode :jawdrop: I have seen front of the pumpkin blow off and twisted driveshafts from similiar activities :hammer2:

Not always true, That depends on the design of the trucks transfer case & which gear the ford was in. 4 hi or 4 lo. I don't know for sure on the Ford, but I know in many trucks 4 hi is for wet pavement & will allow the axels to turn at diferent rates.
Now guess what I own a 2001 Dodge Cummins. I test drove the Ford & the Dodge. & I took both trucks off rode & climbed the same hill. I bought the Dodge. A good friend of mine owns a ford (he will remane nameless) While trying to pull a boat out of a lake without a ramp he was in 4wd & spinning tires, not all 4 I might add. My dodge pulled him out without spinning a wheel & I'm pretty shure he was on the brakes (He hates Dodges.)

Pull off (http://www.willburns.com/Hookin.mpg)I liked to see that done with my truck...
2000 f-350 with a f-550 turbo & intercooler.. Bd trans, injectors, straight exhaust, programer, pulling almost 700hp & way to much torque

That's a test of traction and driving skill, not power. Either of those trucks could howl all four tires.

BTW- My Dodge came with some type of locker in the front & limited slip in the back. Stock.
I say some type because I don't know for sure it is a true locker. There is an actuator on the fron axel.
