right on, at least he wasn't lusting over a Honda with a big exhaust tip.
There is hope for America's youth.
Cool deal.
I am not THAT old but I still have my first hotrod.

You've definitly raised this one right Mike. You should be proud. I had never met him before and walked up and offered to help me launch at K.L. And knew what he was doing.
Tell him congrats on his first car. Somehow I know he will take good care of it.

Cool nova, what year? 71/72? I think pops needs to help out with a 4-speed swap but then again, I'm biased :p BTW-was up in Paso last weekend, a lot of clean classics cruising around

great car. post cars were limited in production verses other lines. they arent quite so popular, but as with the chevelle 300, they will have a growing crowd that will pay alot more. just to be a little diffrent. and a clean venture is hard to find. this car was a good investment. and with prices of muscle skyrocketing, you madea wise choice. i dought the prices will go down
that a&w was the first 1 i ever went to

Sweet ride!!!! My first car was a 74 Ventura, definately don't see many around. Mine had a 350 and moved pretty good. Even had the console shifter and guages. Man that was a great car. My high school girlfriend and I used to lay the back seat down and "sleep" back there under the hatchback. :D
Great choice.

Thats a cool car and a good starting block for new HotRodders, lots of room under the hood to work on it and yes they can move great with a 396-427...great engines...350 would be good but it would really fly with a stroker 383 ........( . )( . ).........400 trans with a shift kit and 411's

Cool ride. You will love it. My first car was a 67 Chevelle 300, then I bought my sisters 68 Camaro. I miss that car. Watch your right foot, it will have a tendency to push hard down to the floorboard, upseting donut eaters... :D

my muscle cars have saved my ass on ticket several hundred times. cops love it. they have me so dead to rights, and they give me the thumbs up.and bust that little honda.
ive even had cops try, and get me to open it up for them. i just have a history, and cant trust them.

oops, must have sneezed on the computer screen to miss that one. I've only seen two other Ventura's and both were pretty lame :( Sure does look like a clean car that's been taken care of. That thing begs for a 400 or 455  I have pontiac on the brain, finishing up a 550hp 65 GTO 4-speed hopefully this week or next, been at the shop for 3 years
BTW- Nice meeting you as well, I was hanging at shadow's bro's place for awhile, just stuck on the beach all afternoon....damn this lack of boat ownership :yuk: Definately want to head back up that way later this summer, I love that lake. Very different scene than the river :)
