Hello all, I thought I post some pics from this weekend. I was in the group of jetboats allowed to perform as "walls of water" even though we weren't. It was a great time out there. My group, though novice as myself, had a stellar performance! After all, isn't a day without breaking or injuring anyone while boating a perfect day?
So on to the pics.....
Here's my rig as some of you know...

I did two radar runs. I definitely verified that their guns were off as my GPS consistently read 3mph higher... not a lot, but it means something to me! ha ha!

I only got a picture of one of them running... I'm pretty sure it was around 143mph or something like that? Keith Zellmer was running 135+mph on his carrera. very impressive!

Nope, that is the real "walls of water" group. The guy hitting the bridge has this daytona. He spun his bearings again from what I hear. First time out for their performance on Saturday, and he gets towed. ouch! :(

I only hit 92mph on the gps. I have some bottom work to do over the winter if I want to go faster. It was amusing because all the boats were the big offshores that were 25ft + out there. (mines only 19ft).
HOWEVER, I was very proud to see that I at least had a higher top end than some of them... now if only I could maintain that speed in the ocean with 4ft chop like they can! :D

Man what a great event. I didnt get any photos as my camera was dead just a couple of short clips. This was my first time on the river and I have to say you guys definitly have an awesome waterway up there. I will definitly be back to Bridge to Bridge next year. The radar runs were awesome and the Eliminators kicked some serious behind. Brett, Bob leach, Tony and all are a great bunch of people and I have a new respect for the Team Eliminator I think there boat hit 149??? They were even willing to lend me there props when I was hitting my rev limitors at 114...to bad I was to lazy to change them out or I should have had at least one 130mph run. Next is the Big Cat run in Discovery Bay...The nor-cal peeps are some good people and definitly know how to party. It was good to hang with Sean Gibson and Ron as usual we partied are asses off. Kieths Single engine Carrera kicked some ass over 130mph. The drag boats definitly put on a show and they sure can get there quick. One last thing I might add it definitly a little hairball trying to run from Bridge to Bridge...but I think thats what makes it such a spectacle! :D

Thanks, It did OK. I was using my small props which are 30 4 blade bravos. I was hitting my rev limiter at 114mph. :(
Next year I'll bring my big props and she'll run in the 130's hopefully. All in All a great boating event and the crowds were wonderful. Not sure if you've been but I'd definitly suggest next year. There were some big skaters, nortechs, and MTI's there also and it was a site to see these big boats over 130mph going through those bridges.

I boat almost exclusively in the Delta (launching out of Orwood near Disco Bay). I keep getting pulled over and ticketed, so I said **** it and bought these. They don't really work, but they're obvious that they're on there at least.
Thanks RevnDave for the nice comments on my boat, much appreciated! :D

The actual distance that had the speed measured by radar was .4 mile between the bridges. The actual start was set way the hell back so the big boys could get up to speed. I believe I was the only jet that ran it, and I hit only 92mph (on gps). I still have some bottom work to do to get up further... oh well.....

They have a radar gun (that was off at least 3mph!) on the Delta King - a floating hotel at midpoint - and the speeds were posted on a wipe board. I wish I could have seen the board, but I never got a chance to.
