Going to be making a trip south this week. As a kid I spent some time each summer in Long Beach and want to do a little "sight seeing". Where exactly is/was Marine Stadium? Any of you old timers remember a city park/beach that was in the bay/harbor? Big beach(to a little kid), boats were going by all day. had a volleyball court and snack bar. This was back in the early 60"s.....I want to say it was in the area south of the city. Any ideas?
