Yeah, I emailed that to snopes last week and they finally got around to researching it and emailed me back today that they had posted a response. None if these were ever published in the LA Times.

Here are some info:
persons living in families in which the head of the household or the spouse is an unauthorized migrant--13.9 million as of March 2004, including 4.7 million children. Of those individuals, some 3.2 million are US citizens by birth but are living in "mixed status" families in which some members are unauthorized, usually a parent, while others, usually children, are Americans by birthright.
From Pew Hispanic Center
illegal imigrants in the USA total is apporox 11Mil and California alone has 2.5Mil
from Pew Hispanic Center
cost for the federal government $10 billion more annually than illegal imigrants pay in taxes.
From Center for immigration studies
$750 million annually to house the 18,000 illegal aliens in California prisons.
From US Accounting Office
Not all of these are " Mexicans" as i have seen some people insert that or "Hispanic"

Do we really need to boil down a person's worth by their fiscal impact in dollars and cents?
When they are here illegally, YES... Especially when their own corrupt government can't take care of their social wellfare and offer them a decent standard of living... I.e., I've always been of the mind set that it is not just the jobs that they come here for... They also come for all the goodies that we hand out to them for free... I've witnessed it firsthand...

Illegal Alien Supporters Lose their First Election Test!
Herndon Citizens Throw Out Mayor and Town Council

Appreciating the national significance of his victory in Herndon, Virginia, Steve DeBenedittis, said, "It is my hope that the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives will listen to the voice of the people to resolve the critical problem of illegal immigration."
In Herndon, Virginia last night citizens voted against a tax-funded day labor site, residential overcrowding, escalating crime, and the deteriorating quality of life foisted upon them by an arrogant small-town administration.
The morning of the election, Mayor Michael O’Reilly told a news reporter that he didn’t care what the people think. By mid-afternoon, he dropped the attitude. In the evening, Mayor O’Reilly’s bid for another term was trounced by challenger Steve DeBenedittis by a five-point margin, 52.5 percent to 47.5 percent. Five other conservative candidates also won.
Councilmember Dennis Husch won re-election and becomes vice Mayor. Husch was one of two councilmembers who voted against the taxpayer-funded day labor center last year. Former Councilmember Connie Hutchinson was elected to a seat on the Town Council.
Bill Tirrell and Dave Kirby, who are on the Town Planning Commission, won seats to the Town Council. Charlie Waddell also won a seat. Getting the fewest votes was Harlon Reece, the only incumbent to win re-election. He voted for the taxpayer-funded day labor center last year.
Of the town’s 10,000 registered voters, only 2,620 actually voted. Hispanics make up 25 percent of the town’s population, but they were virtually absent from the voting booths, even with one of their own on the ballot. Jorge Rochac, a Salvadoran, made a point of visiting residents with Hispanic surnames, urging them to vote. His effort proved unsuccessful. Poll watchers estimated that 25 to 30 Hispanics may have voted.
Appreciating the national significance of his victory, Steve DeBenedittis, said, "It is my hope that the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives will listen to the voice of the people to resolve the critical problem of illegal immigration."
Last year, Herndon became the national flashpoint for the illegal immigration crisis. After several days of public hearings, the Mayor and Town Council voted to establish a day labor center over the strong objections of a majority of town citizens. Their concerns were dismissed as "emotion" at best and "racism" at worst.
This ignited a firestorm of activity that eventually culminated in last night’s defeat of the Mayor and all but one of the Town Council members who voted for the day labor center.

Blackout On Violent Illegal Alien Invasions of Schools, County Buildings, Stabbings In Santa Ana
Government buildings locked down during protests in fear of attacks
The media has portrayed the immigration protests as orderly and peaceful yet in Santa Ana California alarming reports have emerged of illegal aliens swarming around in mobs invading schools, carrying out violent beatings and in one incident a county worker had a Mexican flag plunged into his chest.
Latino Americans For Immigration Reform spokeswoman and senatorial candidate Lupe Moreno appeared on The Alex Jones Show to discuss the two incidents.
She first described how on March 27th how a group of rioting Mexicans ran into a local Santa Ana high school and attempted to tear down an American flag. The school police and a police SWAT team had to stand guard to prevent the youths from getting to the flag. This story received no mainstream press coverage whatsoever during the first wave of immigration demonstrations.
Moreno said that the Mexican consulate had penetrated Californian schools with books teaching Hispanics that the American flag is a symbol of the enemy.
County workers in Santa Anna looked out of their windows on May 1st to see Mexicans beating other county workers and police before they rushed towards the government building and stormed it, stabbing one worker with a Mexican flag in the process.
Moreno described the stabbing as seen on a video tape of the incident.
"The men start running and then you can see all these people, and they weren't just kids, some adults and the kids were behind them, but you can see this guy chasing this man down and he plunges the stick of his flag pole into this man's chest."
In all, illegals had broken into five government buildings in the area, causing the county to take the decision to lock down all government buildings during planned demonstrations.
"Why are we letting this happen? It's like a trojan horse, they come bearing gifts to kill us," said Moreno.
"Our country is in serious serious trouble. My children do not want to live in the city they were born in anymore because we have been taken over so badly. 78 per cent of my neighbors are illegal aliens."
Why hasn't the media reported on these violent attacks and stabbings? How many more similar incidents have occurred without receiving any coverage whatsoever?
Moreno said that government workers were afraid that more attacks would take place to coincide with future immigration demonstrations
