I have
2 6x9 Polk 100 watt RMS 300 peak
2 6.5 Polk GXR 100 waatt RMS
2 10" MTX Road Thunder 300 Watt Subs
I am looking for 2 amps to adequately power these speakers. What do you guys think? I was looking at the Clarion Marine line but I don't know anything about amps.
The deck is a DEH 4700 with the XM Direct Module.
Thanks,
Eric

I'm trading up to a larger JL audio amp for my 12's. Would you be intrested in a Fosgate 1000 watt amp. to run your 10's? I'll let it go for $200 It's more than you need for your subs. But when you blow them you can trade up to some JL W6 10's and this amp will be perfect. Meanwhile you can just turn down the amp. Give me a call if your intrested. I've got my boat here untill tonight and you can hear the amp with 12's. Corey 714-281-1395... I'm in Anaheim Hills.

Thanks for the offer Corey... I am not sure I am ready to buy. I usually take a long time to make a decision on these types of things. 200 bucks sounds like a great price too.

You would want and need the following, end of story !!!
(1) JL Audio 300/4 for the 2 pairs of Polks
(1) JL Audio 500/1 for the Subs
Will not over heat, no fans needed, VERY reliable and the power will be perfect for what you are looking for.
I have (4) pairs of Polk Momo's and have the same setup, except I have (1) more 300/4 amp to drive the other 2 sets of speakers.

I have 3 sts of MB Quarts 6.5's running on 1 JL 450/4 amp and 2 12 W6's running on a fosgate bd1000. Nothing ever shuts down and it's loud as hell. Let me know if you would like the amp...

I'm a big fan of JL equipment, but it's often pretty expensive. If you're looking to save some $$$ and still get quality components, take a good look at the JBL stuff. I've got Polk "momo" series speakers throughout (4 6x9's & 4 6.5's) along with a JL 12 all powered by 3 JBL amps and it sounds very good, gets very loud, and never overheats to shutdown.

I don't have the money to do the JL audio amps so what do you think of these to run my stuff?

seriously, look into the JBL line of amps. Lower cost doesn't always mean lower quality. They are very loud and stay very clean at higher volumes. I got all three of my JBL amps on EBay, new and in the sealed boxes, for less than $800 delivered in 3-4 days.
I couldn't be happier. Great sound at a great price.
good luck.

Go with these. Great amps with built in fans.
