hay rob hear from cfw with crises old boat. have question what can i do to my carbs to get a little more out off them. i also have a big hesitation off ideal. any ideas ?? thanks robsquezn

Just my opinion pull the tops off both carbs. and see what size jets and metering rods are in it see if somebody change them from stock this will give you a good base line to start with. Stock is 113 primary 107 secondary then pull 4 plugs --- #1 #7 #2 #8 and read them to see what your fuel mixture looks like black or tan good gray or metallic looking bad :frown: If it has very little gray it might be because your mixing race fuel. If I had those carbs. I would rebuild them mixture screws are froze up Chris ask me to adjust them 2 weeks before you got the boat. Any questions call maybe I can help.
