Cometic (cometic.com)
They do not have a .080 model, but do have many other choices pretty close.

I heard that SCE is coming out with some new head gaskets that are comparable to the cometic's but at a cheaper price.Right now i am running the Fel-Pro deals the 1017 gaskets with no problems so far and i am running a 461 cid deal with 11 1/2-1 static and 18 psi of boost and have had no problems yet.But i realize that my time is coming though.

Danny, Is that with no timing or on alcohol? :2purples: :crossx: :)

Cometics , 8/75 : 1 w/ 12+boost on Gas
Give INFO a PM he carrys them...from what I understand the Cometics are a MULTI-LAYER composition , >stacks of different materials< therefore they should be able to Custom make any thickness you need ????

Cometics are 150.00 per pair. Will not work with "O" ringed heads or blocks.

Thats with 30* of timing on vp c-16.I just canged the pulleys tonight i am going from 17% over to 20.9% over i am going to the river this weekend to try it out .I am going to add a bunch more fuel to it also and possibly take out a couple degrees of timming.

Imfo how much boost will they stand up to?On a properly tuned motor that is!

I am pretty low on stock.
I have 4.580 gasket bore .036 on hand now. They are all special order from Cometic. They do not keep any on the shelves themselves.
I put the piston .005 in the hole and run a .036 gasket. Leaves room for block deck in the future and still has good quench.
Oh and have a pair of SBC 4.040 gasket bore

Guys, I'm running several blown alky and gas motors, and NOS gas motors. I'm using Flatout copper gaskets on all of them with absolutely no problems. They are rubber coated and require no sealers. I'm running o-rings in the blocks and receiver grooves in the head. They do require a good heat cycle and retorquing, but they really work well. Yes, these are water-cooled engines, some in jetboats with lots of water pressure. I do run water pressure bypass setups on some of them, but not all. I am a dealer and a pair for most BBC applications will run about $150. i've reused them also, but used Hylomar on them for sealing water passages and had no problem then either.

Flatout copper gaskets
Do they make BBC head gaskets w/o water passages.....in case someone wanted to change the cooling system to run cold water through the heads and slow down the water to the block to heat it up a little more? Only curious.

Never asked, but I assume you could buy the blanks with bolt holes and whatever bore.

I've been using Flatout head gaskets for 2 yrs. I found the factory silicone didn't seal and I had to use GM brush on to help seal them, plus They leaked when I tried to reuse them. BUT my block is not o ringed. That's why I'm looking for another gasket. Budlight

I am still using copper and an O ring and have yet to have a problem. I won't change till I do.

I've had no leakage on no less than 25 engines with the Flatout's. I had a customer with a blown jet boat that pushed water by them. Figured out that he had over 60# of water pressure in the block. The bypassing water pressure regulator took care of that. It's now running just under 12# at speed and no sign of a water leak. it's impoortant that they be retorqued after a good heat cycle. It's important also that the engine be run to operating temperature with no pressure in the cooling system. In a car, it's okay to have water in the radiator, if you like, but leave the cap loose or off. Let the motor cool off completely, back the head bolts or nuts off 1/4 turn then retorque back to recommended torque. In our boat motors, I just run them dry till the paint starts to melt and let it cool off.
