Yea, And we don't have a clue to what BAD ASS toys this country really has. :2purples: They was saying that today's home computers has more technology built into them than the one's back in the day that put the APLO on the moon.

Way more tech!!
It shows both how cool the shit we got now is, and how bad ass the engineers were in the 60's, putting guys on the moon, and bringing them back!
The tank break away shot was awesome! Showing the shuttle's thruster's spinning it was too cool!

What you should be saying is our country "used" to make some bad ass toys. More and more of our aeronautical and military contracts are being subcontracted out to foreign entities. It will be a sad day when the only thing "American" on our military and space exploration vehicles are the insignias painted on them. Don't kid yourselves.... It's happening, and Congress is not only doing nothing to stop it, but actively supporting it.
As far as the liftoff. Simply amazing. Considering the number of things that have to go right for it to go off without a hitch, it's amazing we ever got guys up there and back in the first place. Whoever said props to the engineers of the 60s was right. Less computing power in all of the Kenedy space center back in those days than what is in many desktop machines today.
