View Full Version : Quick amp ?

The amp for my 2 subs has the light on, but no one is home... where should look first?? it is a rockford fosgate bd500.1 pushin a couple jl12w3's and all the wires look connected and the light on the amp is on and not blinking... any suggestions before i take it in to the shop....

actually its sittin in my warehouse cold as ice :) .... i wish it just needed to cool down.... thanks though..

Make sure your batteries are good, and fully charged. The Fosgate amps will go into a protect mode if the voltage is not sufficient.
I had that problem, and new batteries took care of it.

i dislike RF now. when i was in high school they were good. but now they suck.keep cutting out

Pheb nailed it. If you have below 10.2 v the amp will go into standby. Check the RCA's but also check the head unit if all else fails. I had one fail like that a few weeks ago. It just lost the channel for no reason.
