I have a 04' f-350 and was looking for some opinions on the 4.5lift from DR. It looks like they are becoming very popular. My main question is about the ride quality after you added the lift, did it improve or get worse? Also any pictures would be great.

A local Ford Dealer by my house has done a couple trucks on their lot using this lift. Looks real good with 18" rims and 35" tires. Not too high and the old lady can still hop in it. :D

Yes go with the DR kit it is the best kit for the Superdutys. Where did you go? I have seen the DR kits on trucks at Capo Ford but never Santa Margarita Ford. I have the 3 inch leveling kit and am very happy with it.

I didn't buy my truck from them but Tuttle Click has done a couple of trucks I've seen with the 4.5.
Your truck looks good. Are those Moto Metal Rims?

The DR lift is one of the best lifts out there, especially if you get their matched shocks. I have ridden in a few Fords with this lift and they ride great, EssexJet has the 6" DR kit and his truck kick a$$, definately one of the smoothest riding. Jason at Rancho Motorsports does a lot of these lifts on Fords, in fact I think he's an official DR installer. Give him a call and see what he says (909) 390-9722, I think he offer discounts if you mention HB.

Not yet, I cant decide which to get either the 3"level kit or the 4.5" lift.
What size tires can you run with the 3" kit?

I have heard that the DR 4.5" kit is the best riding lift out there. They have the spring rates and shock valving down. I'd have one but I'm waiting for a bit taller kit to be released by them. You get a 50% increase in front travel with the lift kit from DR. The leveling kit gives you zero extra...

I ran 33.4 on the stock wheel before going to a 17x9 wheel, now I run a 315/70/17=35 equiv. If you want the 4.5 do it! I wish I would have from the start.

Picked up my truck today from Jason at Rancho Motorsports. It looks awesome! 4.5 DR with 18" rims on 35" tires. It rides suprisingly well for a lifted truck. I'll take some pics and post em up soon.
Riverkid - I do believe they are now making a taller kit for the new Superduty's, 7/8". Jason also told me that you can run a spacer on the 4.5 to allow for 37" tires.
