Fel-Pro # 1884R one piece oil pan gasket for mark 4 blocks...sounds like a good idea, anyone ever use them? Pro's/Con's.

I use one and I've had it apart twice. I cut the front off for the timing cover I use. Works great no leaks.

Have used those gaskets on all the motors we've built. Pros- 1 piece, never had another leaky rear main.

I agree, it is the way to go. I've also been running their molded silicone valve cover gaskets; they're reusable and don't leak.

I picked up the one piece Fel-Pro oil pan gasket...nice looking gasket for sure. Now all's I need is my new Milodon Pan to show up and I'm in business. Rumor has it, its still good practice to put a dap of silicone in the corners.
