Any VW (TDI) owners out there?

The only decent VW is air-cooled and has the engine in the trunk.

I do have an 01 Passatt with about 54,000 of trouble free miles, when i saw jetdrivers Passatt (bitchin) i knew i had to have one and got it for my wife, she loves it.. :cool:

The wife has one /04 Runs perfect and gets some awesome mileage. Good upkeep as with any diesel and it will run a long time. I also like the fact that I can run alternate fuels in a pinch.

I have an 01 Jetta gasser 1.8T. Its been a great car no problems what so ever and I beat the crap out of it. A few freinds have the TDI and everyone seems to love the motor. It seems like if you take car of it, the motor will most likely out last the car. I also have several friends with Jettas that are having a lot of trouble with the interior pieces of the car falling apart. They are constantly fixing stupid stuff that drives them crazy.

Thanks for the feedback, I just came from a local dealer looking into a 03 Golf TDI w/30K miles.
I'm sure I insulted the salesman (like I care) :D ...because I'm sure they insulted the original owner that brought it in.
I'll go back in a few more day's and up my number...but not by much :p
