Definatly big cheifs on that one, Id wager its a minimum of 14:1 too, sounds bad ass. :) gotta love that sound, Id rather hear that over a blower any day.
Guru was runnin him down big time, and the outcome would probably have been alot worse for TC if he had slowed down and paired up with guru..
I agree that was way over a 1/4, I got a full 10 count in from when TS smacked till he let off.
Trust me, myself and a alot of other jet guys I know would go a full 1/4 or more with NO problems in conditions like that.

Chris, you are right it was 14.8:1 and those were Brodix Pontiac heads. The manifold was a Hughes. Iwhen we ran, it was actually Nick Constantino driving. The old guy can definately hang it out there. That was off the bottle since he does not run it I figured we would run em on the motor. That 540 they run in there was bad ass. Mine was a 509. Both of the motors are running steel rods. Damn, I kinda miss the dragboat thing. :(

Dude stop lying about the compression and the lack of Nitrous. Naturally aspirated motors don't hit that hard at hit of throttle like yours did. I heard that PGF 146's boat at Bakersfield and that thing sounded alot more mild than yours. Thats how I know you were using the blue pill. You know that it took all you had to had with that LOOKY LOU boat.

I'm a jetboat guy that thinks he needs to call the paper tomarrow. I got a 100 mph ride in a v-drive before I bought my jetboat and I said then that I wanted a v-drive. My buddy had my boat for sale with a blown motor for reel cheap, so I bought it. I just saw the videos on that sight for the first time tonight. I keep trying to tell myself that my boat is fast enough, and it works till I click on anouther video. The bad part is I just built the motor up for my jet and just got it tweeked in perfect. It go's about 80 mph, but that ain't enough........ You'll see me in a v-drive soon!!!!!!!

I did reach around and turn the bottle on.
I did NOT use it!! I was trying to line up with Nick but he was moving along at a pretty good clip and I was about 6 or 7 boats behind him when I hit the NON NOS assisted throttle. I was just trying to catch up to him when I hit it and he nailed the throttle before I caught up to him. I could not pull him nor could I catch him. The Lookie Lou was a bad ass ride. Had we started together it would have been a great race. But, Had I run him on the bottle it would not have been such a good race.
