ride plate bolts fell out (this ever hapen to annybuddy

took boat out off lake & noticed that the ride plate bolts were missing..
they were there when i put it in??? ever happen to anny buddy ?????????
had lock nuts on them.

Are you talking about the bolts holding the ride plate to the "cradle"? If so, I have had them break as well. I upgraded to grade 8, and haven't had any problems.

The guy who installed my ride plate, put in grade 8 bolts. He said if I switch those to stainless they will break.

ya thay were stainless bolts & nuts..ill try just grade 8 bolts & nuts

Upgrade to grade 8 bolts and try using blue thread locker (medium strength) on them as well.
