Mine are aluminum and have oxidation on them. I'm working on them with Mother's polish, but is there an easier way to clean them up? Thanks.

I used Wenol polish in the red tube...it's a pink product. It has a very fine grit in it to cut, use it with a buff wheel or by hand...then follow up with the Wenol in the blue tube, thats a white paste, it brings it up to a mirror shine. Works for me! I use wenol products on all my metal needs from my Corvette wheels to boat valve covers to a Dellorto Side Draft carb on my Harley .

i have used some stuff i got from the pomona antique car swap meet. it has a jcak rabbit on the bottle, dont remeber the name, but it as a cleaner and a polish. the cleaner is basically an acid that takes all the oxidation right off, and the polish shines it up. it worked great on my 20 year old ehaust tips on my jet boat. the cleaner is pink and the polish is white.
