View Full Version : Broken Throttle Baseplate Help!

Sorry to post on all these different boards but I'm doing my best to cover my bases.
Any thoughts would be very much appreciated

Just buttoned up the Holley 3310 and stuck it on. Tightened it a 1/4 too much and crack! Broke the ear off. Sometimes I can be such a dumba$$!
Anybody know if you can buy baseplates for a 750cfm, VacSec, single pump, list 3310-3?
Really don't want to buy a new carb as there is nothing wrong with this one.......okay, except for where I screwed up.

Just take the plate off and get the ear welded back on, no biggie!..

Hmmm.....Gonna have to find somebody better than me at welding to attempt that.

dont u think that carb is a little small for that 468c.i. mtr??...i would think u should be running at least a 850cfm!!...u can find alot of them really cheap...all u gotta do is look...just my .02 cents

Not for a low rpm stocker it isn't, that's a good all around carb!..
