I ran across http://www.sonnysracingengines.com/ sonny Leonard Racing engines.... he makes some interesting Marine N/A engines... anyone have any experience with him? thanks in advance

he was the guy for a long time in drag racing,do hear of him to much anymore.one of thr first big cubic engine guys.

I think he used to make alot of the engines for the fastest street car shoot outs, and he used to have ads in National Dragster. Didn't Hot Rod magazine do some write ups on his motors?

Sonny is still biulding kick ass motors.....I hear nothing but good about him hear on the east coast.

i deal with sonnys shop on a almost daily scedule i have a motor of his in the garage right now,he builds very strong motors and is very well priced if you price out what it would cost in parts to do one of his motors ,its very close to what he is charging,what motor are you looking at ?

God Damn! He has some pretty wild setups!!!!! I am sitting here imagining what 2000HP would be like in 19' Daytona...........

Specializes in Large Cubic inch Drag Race motors. He builds good drag motors, but most of his stuff used VERY large heads to make the power, not the best in a boat. In CA you'd be cheaper dealing with someone like Paul Pfaff, and spending a little more rather than shipping.
