Looking for one of these type pulleys

I have one behind the lower pulley but am having some clearance issues with the water pump. If I put the style in the picture it will give me more room. Anyone got one laying around?

aerospacecomponents.com sells a lot of different pulleys also.

new is pricey and the crops haven't come in yet. I would prefer used if all possible. I'm down to a 20 day time frame.

What I want to do is take the behind pulley out and use the other style so the belt would move back and give me some clearance at the water pump.

Unless its mopar I probably don't got it. But what are you looking for? And how much?

Looks like to me there is a lot of room to shorten that blower drive hub so it sits in farther. Hanging way out there now.

aerospace has a drive for you..its like a 100 bucks mandrel and pulley set up...goodluck trying to find used stuff.

Ya that could be possible.

Are you using a long snout on the blower or spacers or what?

Maybe a trade for something I need?
Looks like the only thing he has to trade is the French style backboard (90 degree to the "left".) :D

Way out there. I'd pull that blower hub, mill it or chuck it in a lathe and shorten that puppy up.

I'd like to but I don't have time to ship it off. The guy who does my machine work locally is gone for 2 weeks. No personal project allowed at work anymore. Don't really have the time to ship it off and wait.

I have the same set up and used a 4 in. extention on water pump, looks like you have 2or3 in. Rex has them. :coffeycup

It looks like it is hanging out WAY to far. Pretty hard the the snout of the crank.
A couple suggestions.
Can you rotate the water pump 90 Degrees so the fittings are vertical instead of horizontal?
2nd day air the stuff to me and I can trim/turn down what you need. Shipping shouldn't be too bad.

No they don't. That set up is also adapting the fuel injection flange on the timming cover to a magnaflow water pump flange.
Sorry K flat, that one was made by a turbo guy. If it was an inch or two longer you'ed be all set.
Your hub is sticking way out there. Seems like that would put extra stress in the crank.

I'd take him up on trimming down that hub myself.
Do you have any spacers on the blower pulley? If so then you could trim the hub (& idler mount) down that amount and be all set.

Found a guys wife that will let me use her husbands lathe. I went and measured what I can take out and its just over .700. Wish me luck

build a crank support also....1/2 alum..a double thrust bearing..and some old head studs...p.s. i hold that belt tensioner holds up.

I cut it down and now have a 1/2" gap between the timing cover and hub. I took out the 1/2" spacer on top to line the pulleys back up. When the pulley from dragboats gets here the bottom pulley will move in another .700 (pulley width) and I will turn down the top spacer another 1/2".

The shorter you can get it the better.

I could probably take another .450 but not right now. We started harvest today and hardly had any shop time. I'm just gonna run it and redo it this winter.

Think how much time you will waste replacing the crank after you break the snout off. Do it right the first time.
No crank is invincible with a blower hanging off them.

How much belt tension is there supposed to be?
How much timing should I start with?

Fiat48

About 3/4 of inch slack in the belt measuring mid way.
34 degrees.
