We just purchased this 80 Schiada 21. I believe it's a river cruiser. Has a race aero twin turbo, turbo 400. We bought it from Bobbi Chandler in Parker. If anyone knows this boat, we'd like to hear your thoughts or info. Engine valve covers are "GT" logo which I think is GT Marine??

you will be very happy with that boat.
Schiada makes one of the nicest ridding boats around.
They can handle all the power and water you can throw at them.
Have fun.

Thanks to Kindvater for updating the images. I think I need to put IMG on the beginning and end??. And thanks for your kind comments. The boat is at the fiberglass shop now getting a couple cracks in the cap repaired then those areas regelled. Then it's off to the upholstery shop to get it replaced. We're thinking of toning down the upholstery colors to maybe white with medium blue trim. I've looked over the Hot Boat site for Schiada upholstery pics and they seem to still go with the tuck and roll?? Should we stick with the tuck and roll or go with the more contemorary??

Franky,
Wow, that is a beautiful red Schiada. I don't think ours is that nice. Interesting story, last week we were in Parker, I dropped my wife off at the laundromat, went to gas up our 20Spectra at Parker Oil, saw the Schiada, came back and told her "I think I'm going to buy another boat?? She goes "I thought you went to gas up the boat???" Anyway, she likes the Schiada too.
The Schiada will stay in Parker for now, we would like to sell the 20 Spectra v-drive but we won't be back to Parker until early September. Hope to see you on the river.

Beatiful Schiada. Grew up around the factory and was raised running the lake and river in a '22 IO. Dream is a '21 V-drive..someday. FRZNJIM-You have a spectra 20 V-drive for sale. Can you post some pics?

Bob- Doing good. Just moved to Fullerton, CA from Torrance, CA. Ten minutes from office and just a few minutes from future wife. Been traveling a little to some truck shows. Finished my '85 Chevy shortbed this year-custom painted/flamed, lowered etc. Heading to the avi in a few weeks for the Classic Boat Beach Bash. Had the Hallett out about a month ago. Ran killer and had a blast in Blythe. Hope all is well.

Hello there,
That is a nery nice looking 21', if you wouldn'y mind taking pictures of the installation and the inside of the transom I can let you know if that boat was built by one of our employees in the early 80's. If you can post those pics we'll let you know.
Thanks,
Have fun with that one!
