ok, maybe some help can come from here. I run a Chevy 427 bored 60 over. Crane "BlueprintFactory 425hp 427" cam, 4150 Holley. 12:1 Janns. I had problems with sputtering and flatspots last year, so took out the powervalves and installed plugs. Now I have been killing myself trying to get the right jet setup. I have been told everything from low 70's to high 80's.
Then, when I time the motor, it will only run in the 36 to 38 degree range. Does this sound like cam timing? I am lucky to get 4400 RPM with an A impeller in an A.T. jet.

Send me an email...Explain everything in detail. I can help you out on your problem. Should have left your powervalve alone, and just tuned your idling circuit better.

Try the Carb Shop in Ontario Ca. They can set your carb up to bolt on and go. Trust me I sent mine in and when I got it back I thought I had fuel injection it ran so good. Tell them your specs (cam, heads, supercharger ect...) done!!
