Kidds colision was more like a bump compared to this one....
Both guys were ok. This happened at Long beach last year.
The guy in the red boat (who btw is a seasoned racer) turned on the wrong buoy. Just one of those brain fart incidents.

The yellow boat was split at the cap.The red boat raced again that day but the exhaust fell off. That wreck happend right in front of me. I thought the guy in the yellow boat was a gonner for sure.

I was standing next to Schiada96, from where I was watching, the impact angle didn't seem near as acute as your camera angle shows it to be Jerry, almost a t-bone. Yikes
