True. It's exactly what I'm looking for. The timing is terrible for me. Maybe it's time to refi :(

Those pics were definitely taken in Parker. It almost looks like somebody was using my dock for a little impromptu photo shoot

Get me one is probably more appropriate than help me. :notam: I qualify for the loan, the real question is "Can I afford the loan." In my sad little world the answer is no. Someone should snap this up, so I stop kicking my dog about it.

Best I can recall the Spectra 20 has a 12* V at the transom. As far as the driveline stuff, I'll leave that to the owner.

What's The Size And Approx. Hp Of The Engine? What Are We Lookin' At Mph? Any Work The Pics Don't Show That Needs To Be Done?

I think the Ace Champion v-drive is 8 degrees. Others on this site can verify this please. It has 15% gears. I also have a set of 10% gears.
Punchy,
The LS6 is a 454, 450 hp. We've seen 65 mph on the GPS for speed. There really isn't any work to be done on the boat. The headliner under the bow could be replaced. The trailer brakes are not operational, I was going to replace them with disk brakes.

FRZjim, I have an Ace in my 24 Spectra .It has 10* degrees .
Wonder if they came in different angles ?

You are probably right about the ten degrees. Wrong guess. When I bought a set of 15% gears from Capp Machine several years ago, they said the Ace Champion only came in one angle. I don't think Capp is selling A/C gears anymore. I do have a copy of the parts drawings if you don't already have them. What is your source of Ace gears now?

FrznJim, didn't need a gear yet . When the need arise I'll ask one of the machinists to cut me one on the CNC at work. Hopefully not very soon.Right now I have to deal with a spun bearing for the 1970 LS-6 .Dang , I hoped it would last longer :rollside: . Have two backup boats ,so it's on the back burner till summer ends.Would appreciate if you could scan and e-mail me the drawing . Your boat is very nice and a helluva deal for someone looking for a classic V-drive.

it's hard to tell from the pic, but is that maroon or more of a violet color on the boat?

FrznJim

It's maroon or burgundy, not violet.

The maroon and non-skid were regelled four years ago. I can think of only two stress cracks, one on the inside of the gunnel, adjacent to the drivers seat back, approx 15 inches long. The other is a light crack across the bow, above the deck gusset support, approx the same length, it is barely noticable. I don't have photos them, otherwise would post.
