DO RUDDERS ACTUALLY SLOW THE BOAT DOWN ENOUGH TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE.. :argue:

Not really sure how much top end you will lose but I can tell you from experience slow speed handling is greatly improved with a rudder.

I would think they may show up on the track but not on the Lake !!!

Craig with the Hallet, BBC made a rudder out of a plate of 1/4" aluminum, it hangs off his diverter. It's knife edged, and that boat corners like a Subaru WRX, plus it does give you the ability to steer under no power. I'm fabricating up a small stainless rudder and skeg system cuz my Hondo is all over the place when I'm on it hard. It's running better and better everytime I go out! You can ride in the Hallet and form your own opinion on Labor Day. Matt...

SO HOWS IT GOING ----GOOD HERE ,JUST DEALING WITH THIS HOUSE STUFF BUT IT WILL BE DONE PRETTY SOON I HOPE THEN I AN GET THE GARAGE UNDER WAY.PROBABLY GOING TO BLUE LAKE THIS WEEKEND. :messedup:
