The Spectra 20 was the first boat Spectra made Bud Bailey designed it.
Spectra went out of business in 1981. The 20 molds were sold to Miller boats and Miller just sold them.
The Spectra 20 was splashed by just about every boat company in the 1970's, but Howard Brown copied the Spectra 20 in 1974 and they still make the boat today. Howard did change the deck in the mis 80's.
I think you know what my opinion is regarding Spectra:D.

Sanger got the 24 mold in 83 or 84 and i got my 24 in 86 did jack destroy that mold with all the others? Bud Bailey goes back with my family before i was born. I talked to bud a year ago. I love my 24 dont think ill ever get rid of it built like a BRICK SHITHOUSE!! matter of fact all the 21-34 hallets all have the spectra look buds amazing dont know where hallet would be now if bud had'nt designed there cruisers!!

it was nice to see them being made again but iam not a huge fan of red. :D
