They say: Boeshield T-9® Was developed by The Boeing Company
for lubrication and protection of aircraft components. It is
a combination of solvents, lubricants, and waxes designed
for penetration, moisture displacement, lubrication and
protection. Boeshield T-9® dries to a thin waxy film that
clings to metal for months. It will loosen rusty and
corroded parts and is safe on paints, plastics, and vinyl's.

Polish and clean up everything. Spray everything down with WD40. Park it in the garage. When you take it out to use, rinse it off (with water) towel dry it and repeat when you put it away. My $.02
P.S. Do you know what WD40 stands for????

P.S. Do you know what WD40 stands for???? That's exactly what I have done for years. It works great on dirt bikes / buggies. You don't even have to wipe it down first. It may smoke a bit the first minute but the dirt will stick to the WD40 and not the paint. Get home, spray down with a 50/50 solution of Simple Green and it looks like new.
I also spray a thick coat of it on the insides of my pipes at the end of the day. The WD40 displaces moisture and keeps it out until you get them hot again.
This Boeshield stuff adds a "waxy" finish. Not sure if that is such a good thing or not. It may be too much.

You can spray Boeshield on and leave it (thick coat) or spray and wipe or just spray on a rag and wipe. It does leave a waxy film, thickness depends on the aplicator. With a thick application it leaves a dull satin finish. The great thing about it is the clean up is just a wipe down with a dry rag, no water spots no POLISHING even river water. I've put it on my polished cav plates which are a major pain to polish and they clean easy after four or five days in the water. :D
