Im painting a trailer, no not a boat trailer and I need to figure out what the best paint to use on it durability wise. Its an 18' flatbed and its gonna be black. Should I wire wheel the entire thing or just sand it down a little? what kind of paint? I was thinking rustoleum? i dunno im new at this.

If you want it to last, bring it to a sandblast shop. have them blast and paint the trailer. I have used black epoxy on my trailer and it still looks great. should cost anywhere from 800.00 to 1500.00 depending on the condition of your trailer. just my .02
