Mike,
Call Ron Braaksma. 909 886-3298 he keeps a pretty good stock of new and used gears and will often make trades.

JJ Beaver aka Beaverfab is the guy to exchange gears with. He's 100 bucks less the Braaksma.
150 to do an exhange is just crazy. I've bought many many sets of used gears and very rarely would I ever pay over 150 ~ 175 out right.

Hmm. A 67 flatbottom that needs 29 gears. Must have some pretty good power.

He just wants to get his RPM down going 35 to 40, no way the motor will ever pull the gear.

why should it cost you anything to exchange used gears for used gears.

Bobbo541 I charge 50.00 to exchange a set of gears and I clean and check for cracks, at any time I have 40 to 50 sets of gears. What do you think it coat to have 40 sets of gears on the shelf. If you can exchange gears with some one even I think you got a good deal. But that is why I charge 50.00. j.j. :D
