Hey Guys, Just Wanted To See Where Everyone Usually Hangs Out On The Weekends. Usually Out Every Weekend But Its Always The Same Place. Looking To Go To Some New Water Ways Around The Area And Maybe Meet Up With Some You. Any Input For The Northern Va Area? Would Travel Up To An Hour. For Me And Moparjet Its Usually Pomonkey Creek On The Potomac But Looking For Other Hang Outs. Thanks For Any Input In The Quest For More Boating. See You All At Anna!

I am usually down at Tappahannock..i think its about 30 minutes from Fredricksburg.. They have a public boat landing and there are Two marinas you can launch from if you want.

Yes we do. Once again, I woke up at 10 am (4 hours late) and we finally made it home around 5. Thank you for a wonderful time. I'm ready to go back to bed.

Well Sweet, Where Abouts And How Do You Get To The Pax Or Tapp? Easy Directions From Interstate 95 And The Dc Capitol Beltway Would Be Great. Wouldnt Mind Trying The Pax This Weekend.

I think I'd plan on another weekend, if you want to get home that is. They are closing 2 inner loop lanes on W.W. Bridge - Friday night thru Monday morning.

once on the water go left, and look just inside the creek. even if they close 2 lanes of the beltway its just as easy to come through gw parkway to 395 to pennsylvania ave. penn ave turns into rt 4

Yeah, but I'm guessing all that southbound I-95 traffic is looking for an alternate route too. Believe me when I say that when the WW is stopped, it is major gridlock everywhere. I know it was rush hour so traffic is heavier but last night they had one lane closed until 5 pm and there was a fifteen mile backup. Traffic spills out onto the surface streets and bam. Might as well stay at work.
Of course if word gets out, enough people might avoid this area this weekend. You never know.
