Just got an e-mail from my friend in Iraq.
What do think he is most concerned about?
Car Bombs?????????

Snipers???????????

.
Mortar attack??????.
.

Mines?????????????

Nope, he's concerned about the filthy liberal press here at home.
He thinks people believe them.
He says it's not 1/10 as bad as we hear.
Please, take five minutes and go to one of the web sites that forwards mail and packages to our troops.
Send them at least a letter showing our support, or even better, send them off a care package.
They really appreciate it.

I'm glad to hear that it's not as bad as we all think. I have a friend that will be leaving for Iraq soon. He keeps saying not to worry about it, but I can't help it. :(

It's really not that bad over there once you get used to it. Yes it's dangerous but the troops are being as careful as they possibly can be. Just suxs to hear about people sometimes protesting here in the U.S. though. But it's there right to express themselves...I guess.
