Engine ID search [Archive]

Anyone know where to run the ID off a BBC to verify what it is? And it is definitely a Mark V BBC I just want to verify it's factory info.

Look for the casting # on the back of the block above the oil filter

Actually I am tring to ID off the number on the right bank in front of #2 cylinder.
