1992Howard V-Drive, stock 325 H.P. Chevy Turbo 400 Burgandy pearl, black grey and blue. Boat is in showroom condition. Boat has a total of 97 original HRS. and owner must sell due to leg sergery, ( can't work the pedals). Gel is in awsome condition not a scuff or scratch anywhere on it, never beached. Professinally maintained and ready to go. Trailer is in awsome condition as well. Asking 24,900

No Its a guy that always stops by when we are working on boats. He wants to buy my dragster. I told him i will trade my cruiser and my dragster straight across.... He's thinking about it.............NOT!!! He had knee surgury and can't work the pedals so he wants a smaller 18' boat so he can tow in combo with his 5th wheel. He is going back to a jet...
This boat is in great condition and looks like it just came off the showroom floor.

Wow, beautiful looking boat. I was still the rigger at howards then and we sold a bunch of those hulls, but mostly jets.
This isn't the Howard GN Boat though. That was a whole different animal. The one for sale here is the old Schiada semi vee..

Thanks for keeping things straight. Should be a sticky for all the knowledge you have. Is this boat the same length as my spectra v-drive, same bottom or more shallow bottom? THANKS----STEVE

Has anybody here on the boards put any good horsepower in one of these hulls? Either the Shiada or Howard. Would this boat be good at 80-90 mph. How is ride quality in the rough stuff? I'm talking about 700 hp, nothing nuts. I could really use help o how to change my stage name here on the boards...

there is a guy that raced one in GN the last few years. He did pretty well for a lake boat that just went racing.

The guy that did the resto on mine in the mid 90's said he was running a twin turbo setup and hitting the 120 range. Can't confirm those #'s though. :D
I was in the low triple digits with about 950hp.
Feels solid at speed, not loose at all, no chine walk ever.
It rides like a 19' boat with a slight V in the rough stuff.
Jeff, Do you fab AL plate? I'm going to need a new motor mount, and a "T" tank and brackets.

I did just get some good news..........Didn't hurt nothing but the bearings. Now I need to get the hull tuned up and then call Billy for Vale's phone #. :D :D
