Hi All,
I believe I have read that several of you members have houses that you rent to Snowbirds. I recently have purchased a house and was wondering what is the best way to advertise to get snowbirds in my place? I do not want to use a management rental company, so can anyone on the boards recommend that best way to get the word out?
Thanks for all the input,
Aqua Man. ;)

How would you feel about renting it to Hoolign, Kim Hanson, and myself for a couple of months? We can't scrape together a damage deposit but we're trustworthy.

You might as well join us, c1. I'll bet the three of you can completely coat the interior of his house with tobacco rosin before the first day is out.

I hope you guys that rent your vacation homes realize that you fall into a different property tax classification. Instead of a 10% class for residential, your property is considered rental income property and it jumps up to 25%.
Even if it's just rented for 1 weekend a year, the Accessor considers it a business.
