Im looking for ideas on how to mount my puke tank. I have a Victor single carb intake with a 2" spacer. Whats the best way to mount it. The only thing i have come up with is to bolt a piece of metal to the back to carb studs and mount the puke tank brackets to them.

I had the same idea, it looks great from the back.

but looks a little tacky from the side, the Rex Marine mounting bracketts are a little thin and it wiggles a little.

PS go ahead and laugh at my hoses, They are temporary, when I get everything mounted where I want. Then I'll do braided hoses throughout.

I've been considering building some split billet brackets similar to our oil cooler brackets but to fit the puke tank. Is that something that would interest you guys? They would have internal o-rings against the tank just like the oil cooler brackets have against the cooler.

Kevin ... it might be hard to understand, but this is the only picture I have here at work ... but our brackets on the jet boat mount to two brackets that mount to the rear of the hull (made out of 2 - 2"x3" angle aluminium pieces about 2" wide). It works real well and is very sturdy. We also used stainless lines instead of hose. I'll take better pics this weekend.

That is the new Victor for the olds. Hey Taylorman, how does it compare to your tunnel?

As Floored said, it is the fairly new Edelbrock Olds Victor. Part # 2810 for Holley 4150-series and 2811 for 4500-series carbs.

I'll let this setup go for $120. Valve covers are not baffled and the breathers on the valve covers are not included. Originally it mounted to a ski tow. There are four allen bolts on the backside and an AN fitting in the bottom for a drain. A few scratches that can be polished out. Figured I'd throw it out there. Thanks

I love it. I picked up 100 rpms over the tunnel ram. Runs and idles better to. Ive got some carb tuning and i may pick up some more.
