View Full Version : *Lost* Skim Board @ the Sandbar

My 8yr old son lost his brand new skim board at the Sandbar last weekend, I think on the 5th. Well actually his friend didn't put in the boat I hear. Its a little tine "Victoria" with a picture of a wave and it has white and grey camo. Tech Deck on it. If anyone found it or know anyone who found it, it would sure help his broken heart, he only had it for about 2 weeks. My wife and kids were on a yellow and purple cobra "Lucky Bastard" and a white,blue,and yellow Cheetah deck "Wet Kitty", and we drive a maroon and purple and white Placecraft "My Dixie Wrecked".

There were alot of kids this last weekend with skim boards.
We'll be there on Sunday and we'll keep an eye out for his

Yeah unfortunatley I was there last weekend, or it wouldnt be lost. Some people went back on Sat. but it wasnt there, I'm hoping we run into somebody using it or someone we know sees it. It's very distinctive. Thanks for lookin. Its really small, and wood.

I wouldn't think it's just sitting their in the sand but may see the kid that found it using it.
Then getting it back is the next adventure.

im sure all styles of skim board are made in mass production. i hope his name is on it. it wouldnt be a bad idea to engrave name and address in something like that

Its pretty distinctive, especially with the TechDeck on it.
Didnt see it on Sunday, but if anyone knows anyone that found one two weeks ago, it would be greatly appreciated.

I found one exactly like that on the 5th!! However, finders keepers losers weep and cry like a big baby.
Man my kid sure does love that thing. Saved me at least a $100!! Thanks 100+placecraft!!

Shockwave, its the only one that looks just like his, there will be no mistaking it. But I would never just go and take if from some kid who thinks he scored a skimboard.
