Nice Photos. What a great run to bad we got a shitty start at the begining but the run back was stellar. I like how the water really opens up and you can hall ass! We ran side by side with 7 people in the boat (Great Driving Deano!).. I wonderd if he was on the same water as us :smile: :p .. cause most of the time he was really light and all over the place.. The guy got a little close to us and cut us off a couple of times.. I dont think they even drive like that in a offshore race.. but.. who am I.. :cool:

We ran most of the day at 120 in a 32 Force Family boat.. :D
I was really impressed with this thing...If your in the market for a new cat.. You would be ripping yourself off if you didnt take a ride in a Force before you pulled the trigger on something else..Anyway
On the way back we ran with the 30Skater.. (very nice boat)..
We ran side by side with 7 people in the boat (Great Driving Deano!).. I wonderd if he was on the same water as us :smile: :p .. cause most of the time he was really light and all over the place.. No we werent trying to race him..we just wanted to stay with him which was no problem. I never mashed the sticks as I had 8 people in the boat. The rough stuff is not problem either there was just to many of the v's in my way down the middle so I choose the left side. What a fun ride. That Skater is the best looking boat I've ever seen...seriously a nice piece of hardware...oh and the driver damn competitive. I'll be gunning for him next year when I get my new boat! :wink:

Does anyone have any picks of the 30 Skater. I believe it would have been the one the Rik at Arneson had built for a customer with the NA 800hp Sterlings in it with the Bravo conversion Arneson's on it. Sounds like a pretty neat boat.

thats the one.. there are pics of it on OSO.. and I have some that I'll post tomorrow
its a light boat.. all the seats are fiberglass.. I think about 15lbs each

I heard he got a bad start, but came in second, and the GPS was around 160mph a few times that day. Said another half mile and he would of reeled in the 30 Skater. Same old shit, a non inboard Skater owner a half mile short. :D :D Also heard the boat is so quite, ya don't hear him coming.

That was us - I think we left sometime around 9:30 AM on Fri for the run and we returned to disco bay sometime around 4 or 5 PM.. 180 miles in the boats and lots of fuel, but it was a good run.
