Never seen or heard of it, but it is most's opinions that any of the coolers do about the same. I am sure it is fine.
The paint directly ahead of it looks un-heated. Appears that it is working.

The problem isn't so much with the shower, but the water pickup. The cavitation style pickups usually go dry at higher speeds and trim levels.
