the lagoon was only a couple of feet deep until 2 or 3. I think this is Dmonztas dad stuck in the sandbar in the middle. It took several guys to lift the boat off.

The water looks so yucky, every time I go there the water is nice, its low and murky... WTF ?
Although, I was there for memorial and the water was really clear, I could see to the bottom, but the bottom was really close, closer than usual. Are they running it low for any reason or is there a lack of water ?

It was really murky with lots of floating debris because of the severe monsoons and subsequent runoff Friday afternoon and evening.

We were gone most of the day and ran to lake Mohave to test drive another boat :rolleyes:

I drove thru flash flooding like that on the way back from Moabi on Sunday. I was lucky I made it with no problems. :eek: Great seeing everyone again. It came and went so fast. Oh yeah, I didnt even get to meet JetBoatRich.... :(

My dads yellow 21' V-Drive is in that pic. He launched at 6am and didnt get deep enough water to get out there until 4pm, his 21' was getting tossed around...I wouldnt bring my flatty out either. :)

He is still at Parker on his old man boat(pontoon). He will be out there til Sunday. I just came back yesterday and will probably head back out there Friday night after work for the weekend.
