This was the first time attending the event at the AVI Resort & Casino. I survived the seaweed, seadoos, and low seas.........the "three esses". I was considering trying for all "four esses" but didn't find the right lady. (bummer)...just kidding. All I can say is wow.......you guys have put lots of effort into your rigs, wow. and it shows...........As I am very new to jet boating, I wasn't nearly as prepared as I will be next time. Yep a bad gound cable and I was grounded to the boat launch. So a huge thanks to the boat Indecent Exposure......for the tow from the lagoon to the launch ramp. Well the little Ford powered Condor was meek this time but there is still hope. Next year I vote for less seaweed, waaaaaaaay fewer seadoodoo's(and sea dodo's for that matter). and higher river levels.

All I know is I had a voice mail from Mike (cyclone) at about 4am saturday morning muttering something about showing up ... something about "too much Tequilla and mutter, mutter, mutter ... bitchen boats, mutter, mutter, mutter ... lots of people, mutter, mutter, mutter ... call me later " and hung up.
I called about 10am the next day and he wasn't sounding so good, I asked if he remembered calling ... he said no, but that that didn't suprise him ... he had only gone to bed 3 or 4 hours before ... I let him go back to sleep.
So, it sounds like good times were had if I can gauge it off of Mikes phone call!

I had a good time this weekend espcially enjoyed the monsoon on Sunday that was HOT!!!

did the water ever get high enough for the v drives to go out at all? not being from around there i had no idear that the river was so.....sould we say....unforgiving. and low. the one time i went to loughlen the river was way up there.

The boat was recovered. We saw it on the trailer at the gas station the next morning...was a nice boat. I'm sure the owner was happy to recover that thing. Mosy importantly, I didn't hear of any major injuries.
