I got wood.
One day I will see the shuttle take off and land.
When I was a kid I loved everything to do with the shuttle.
I had models and model rockets of the shuttle.

Didn't think about it but I guess the last pic would have been the best :crossx:
By the way the light blue spots you see all over is Velcro for whatever needs to be close at hand

You guys should sell the shuttle fleet to Canada.
We wouldn't know any better. We bought a couple of leaky British submarines that had to be towed here. Hell... we'll buy anything.

Thats great!!! Encourage him to shoot for the stars... We NEED the youth to dream and to believe that they can do ANYTHING if they work for it. They don't all have to go into space but the drive will ALWAYS benefit them in the long run!!!!

Ya a buddy of mine is a rocket scientist. He builds the cargo pods a delivery sytem for the shuttle's payload. Some of the stuff he was telling me was pretty cool (what I understood). Som of you have seen him. Bruce...drives a 28ft carerra (Blue and Purple trim) Where's a captains hat and hangs at mohave.

There was a time, not sure if it still holds true, that your everyday personal computer had more computing power than the shuttle.

Just a protective cover so the glass coatings don't get scratched

Not this one... This is pretty much the latest greatest. They had a few years for mods if you remember :D

How bad does the shuttle make the plane ride? I would think that it would play with the air flow a lot.
Hope that reverse tail cone stays on. :boxed:

Slow and a little sluggish from what i hear but still not a bad ride. It better stay on it is needed to keep turbulence off the tail

Desert Rat, Thank you Very much!
You made a 7 year old kid day. He loves this stuff!
Also I printed them out & put in a binder so he can refer to them.
What got him interested in the shuttle was watching on the National geographic channel, Seconds From Diaster, about the columbia diaster.
What was really hard was anwsering his questions about why they did nothing to help these astronauts. In a 7 year olds mind they should of done something, which they should have!
